Field Service Engineer

Our client provides high quality, high value, simulation visualization solutions to demanding customers in the aerospace industry, from design to installation to life-cycle support. They are widely recognized for innovative products that seamlessly combine multiple projectors on curved screens.  


They are seeking a highly motivated Field Engineer to help strengthen their team in Orlando, Florida. The position is located in Orlando, Florida. Travelling must be expected, domestic and abroad, with around 120-150 travel days/year.


As a member of the Project Team:

  • Apply technical knowledge and communication skills to create and handle documents
  • Complete project preparations to help ensure that a proposed project is feasible and that it can be successfully implemented
  • Assemble, build, modify, and fit simulation visual display systems including:
  • Install dome-screens, construct trusses, mount projectors, install servers and switches
  • Cabling, including professional dressing and labeling
  • Install software and configuring system
  • Participate in Site Acceptance Testing
  • When Project Manager is absent, lead efforts for safe and progressive work
  • Coordinate with third party contractors

As a member of the Support Team:

  • The successful and timely handling and resolution of customer support tickets
  • Interface internally and with customers to facilitate repair and maintenance procedures
  • Provide training for customers on system operation and troubleshooting problems during training missions
  • Service and support missions both off and on-site

As a member of the Production Team:

  • Perform incoming inspections on parts from suppliers
  • Assemble, test, pack, and ship products


  • A degree in engineering or relevant technical/operational field
  • A combination of technical and physical assembly/construction experience
  • Ability to lift 40 lbs.
