Our client makes software that helps healthcare professionals and educators improve the delivery of healthcare. Focused on the capture, debriefing, and assessment of medical training and clinical events using web-based solutions. Their software has helped top hospitals, medical schools, and nursing programs in the US and Overseas 17 countries manage their training more effectively.

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Manager of Audio Visual Services who will work to translate customer needs into solutions. Our candidate is responsible for managing the day to day team operations for the A/V services and installations we provide. This person will focus on streamlining and scaling a key growth area of the company to meet the market’s needs.

What you will be doing:

  • Oversees team operational direction in the successful delivery of turnkey installations and consulting services
  • Creates, maintains, and updates key documentation such as contracts, statement of works, installation scopes, A/V packages, support documentation
  • Assesses packages and services to ensure they are cost effective, scalable, and profitable
  • Develops effective team processes and documentation for continuous improvement in efficiency and execution of deliverables
  • Manages team budget and controls expenses effectively within annual budget set
  • Proven ability to develop solutions and make business decisions if/when an escalated client issue arises
  • Builds strong, positive relationships with key management in Sales, Project Management, Implementation, and Product Management
  • Develops design proposals, budgetary estimates, functional diagrams, floor plans, RCPs, and other design documents until customer acceptance
  • Ability to lead on-site integrators and contractors to A/V install completion
  • Ability to travel both domestically and internationally to customer sites up to 90% for site surveys, consulting services, commissioning of A/V systems, and support
  • Leads and manages third party vendor communication on behalf of the department
  • Develops professional competencies, personal development and monitor optimization of all team members with various skills sets

Technical Skills:

  • 5 years of management or supervisory experience
  • 5-10 years of experience in AV engineering
  • A/V related certificates – CTS, CTS-D, CTS-I
  • Experience with Crestron and other AMX control systems
  • Experience with Symetrix and other DSP systems
  • Experience with AutoCAD and WireCAD
