Game Producer


The game producer will act as an Agile project manager for multiple, time-sensitive customer-facing technical initiatives spanning across multiple Agile development teams in our Tier 3 and customer integration organization. The technical producer will help ensure on time, on budget, quality of these customer-facing initiatives, and help create alignment and a game plan across the organization, sitting between the customers and the development team. The technical producer will drive continuous improvement in the team by implementing Lean Agile tooling and acting as a servant leader coach, removing impediments and identifying resources. The game producer will routinely collaborate with the development leadership at the software development manager and director level and be responsible for outputs to C-level management.


Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Responsible for serving as a technical manager at the project level, helping coordinate the development project across multiple, globally distributed teams and serving as a customer interface
  • Leads technical discovery and estimation, is comfortable at a systems design level, and can lead technical discussions with opinionated subject matter experts, weighing tradeoffs and building consensus.
  • Responsible for delivering multiple strategic initiatives to completion simultaneously while providing tactical leadership when needed or requested
  • Ensuring the Production process is improved and maintained in alignment with company and industry-wide best practices
  • Creates alignment, lightweight processes and clarity of purpose with groups across the company to ensure a successful product or project delivery including Engineering, Release Management, Documentation, Product Management and Support


  • Suggest improvements to the Production process based on best practices and internal team feedback
  • Provides instruments for overview and control of development projects
  • Maintains parts of the global production schedule, involved in workshare assignment and schedule risk mitigation
  • Executes established processes and monitors in-progress efforts for compliance and the collection of metrics


  • Demonstrates knowledge of software development best practices, version control, system design, and at least 1 programming language, preferably C++, C#, C, web application development and/or related. 
  • Demonstrates proficiency as a servant leader; ability to coach and motivate teams without direct reporting


US Citizenship is required for this position

  • Knowledge of military simulations interoperability, software design patterns and products, especially as a developer - e.g. CGFs, IGs, SAFs, CIGI, DIS, HLA, constructive vs virtual simulation, and related.
  • Experience as a software developer and/or technical lead
  • Agile project management (e.g. Scrum, Kanban, XP) experience including team process and ceremony, metrics, schedule, resource planning, and risk management
  • 2+ years leading technical teams; preferably in a servant-leader role
  • Knowledge of the software development lifecycle.
  • Pattern of successfully completing and shipping customer-facing initiatives
  • Excellent communication skills in English in written and spoken form
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Demonstrated ability to excel in a dynamic environment
  • Organized, detail oriented, and self-motivated
  • Bias for emotional intelligence and establishing good relationships
  • Drive to take ownership of the whole team, product, and individual success; coaching that and achieving that in others
  • Good sense of humor
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation and influence skills to achieve results working with internal stakeholders and external partners.


  • Tier3 technical support or integration team experience
  • Kanban and/or Lean Agile expertise
  • International experience working with different cultures, languages and/or countries
  • Certified Scrum Master
  • SAFE or LESS certification
  • JIRA experience
