AHA BLS / ACLS Lead Instructors
Lead Instructors appointed to this role will teach and supervise American Heart Association (AHA) Programs in both classroom and field training environments. Lead Instructors will utilize AHA materials and guidelines to conduct training. Instructional experience is required and the Lead instructor candidates must have the ability to demonstrate hands on techniques and skills to students per AHA guidelines as well as demonstrate the ability to supervise and coach other Training Site Instructors. Instructors must be familiar with the use of Human Patient Simulators for training purposes and be able to travel over seas for 1 - 2 week assignments.

*This needs to be documented in the letter of recommendation that the candidate has lead resuscitations within the organization. If the candidate has not been a team leader but the organization feels that they would make an excellent instructor this recommendation can be waived.
